The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness welcomed David Richardson in early 2021 as a bilingual PA-C, speaking both Spanish and English fluently. With an undergraduate degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a master’s degree in health sciences from the Duke University Physician Assistant program, David is uniquely qualified and passionate about working directly with patients to help them achieve optimal skin health and overall wellness.
We sat down with David to learn more about his background and experiences in both dermatology and aesthetics. Here’s what he said:
Tell us about your background in dermatology and aesthetics. What inspired you to pursue both derm and aesthetics?
I’ve been a practicing dermatology physician associate for over six years and treat all medical and surgical dermatology conditions for patients ages 12 and up. My aesthetic experience ranges from topical cosmeceuticals to chemical peels, injectable neurotoxins and laser treatment options for a myriad of skin conditions. I also am the clinician in our office that performs the Halo™ Pro-Fractional ablative laser procedure. My interest in dermatology and aesthetics stemmed from personal challenges with acne and scarring in my youth and understanding the long-term impact that can have on patients’ lives.
What is most important to you when administering treatments?
Understanding the role that people’s skin conditions play in their personal and professional lives and working together to develop a plan that works toward achieving their goals.
What sets you apart from other derm/aesthetic practitioners?
From no-cost consults to direct access to a patient’s treating provider, every clinician at our office offers a level of service often beyond the expectations of our patients. This, backed with our training and experience, provides a peace of mind, which sets us apart.
What are the treatments to get this time of year?
This is a great time to talk about Halo laser treatment and a topical cosmeceuticals regimen to start your skin off right for the new year!
The Clinic is honored to have David, who is now accepting patients as a bilingual provider, as a part of our team! To learn more or to schedule a consultation, please call 541.200.2777 or request a consultation online today.
